Canned Quail Eggs in Egg Drop Soup

Quail eggs are absolutely top-tier delicious!
When I was young, we used to go to farm shops and went local in general; I remember one place had a gorgeous golden retriever who was very portly indeed... She claimed her egg tax every day and in turn performed her duties most diligently; gently herding the quail from the barn and back. They trusted her around their chicken too.
I miss have rural North Yorkshire on my doorstep so much.

Egg drop soup is the most wonderful, comforting soup to drink when it’s cold out. I never expected to like it since I thought it would be slimy, but it’s genuinely so good

This looks familiar to súp cua - a popular Vietnamese soup that literally translate to crab soup, even though crab is not the main ingredient of it. We often have it for breakfast or as an entree for special occasion (eg. wedding). It's usually topped with chopped cilantro, sesame oil, black pepper and sometime century egg. Very delicious.
