@TheRainasKitchen Fried Dumplings

3-Cups All Purpose Flour (Reserve 1/2 Cup To Dust counter or cutting board)
1-TBSP Baking Powder
1-TBSP Sugar(Optional)
2-TBSP Unsalted Butter(Room Temperature)
1/2-TSP Salt
1-Cup Cold Water

Combine ingredients and form a dough. Allow dough to rest for 10-15 mini or overnight if possible. Use cutting board or hand for form dumplings. Fry on low heat for about 10 minutes. Increase to medium heat for a few minutes.

This is the video I needed to see. I'm a chef that has committed to doing a caribbean theme night for 50 people in a few days time. I always kinda shallow fried my dumplings to order. Deep frying will speed things up massively. Thank you!

I made these dumplings for dinner yesterday with Ackee and salt fish. I am always nervous when it comes to making fried dumplings because they never come out how I intend them to. Well yesterday they came out perfect. Will be using this recipe going forward. Thank you ❤

Looks yummy, nice and fluffy. The amount of baking powder ratio to flour usually have mine not come out right. Are you using double acting baking powder or regular? If its double acting, what would you suggest (how much baking powder vs flour), if it's regular acting baking powder how much? Thanks in advance!!
