This is a great video. As a Property Manager in South Florida, all of this advice is great. I think its important to find someone who isn't a pushover, they will go and beyond to make sure you are happy and meet your needs without ripping through your net income. Great video !! =)

Very great-great questions when screening a property management team. I have a single family home that I would like to have managed due to my lack of time. Question for you though, when first starting off, how do you find a general contractor to fix the home up for ready for tenant ready to move in?

We just fired hours. She started out fantastic but then the vacancies started eating us alive. So I did a little bit of detective work and discovered that she was only doing showings during business hours. And also, the Tenant experience was not good, even for our best on-time paying tenants.

Good starting point. The other channel that came up to the top in my search on YouTube was some wacko right wing political thing. I’m not in this for politics, I’m in it to wisely invest.

Have used PM to secure tenants for SFH within exclusive resort community. Even the high end agent had critical clauses missing in their lease… likely safest to review all documents the PM plans to use.
