That did it. I had a few date columns classified as whole numbers but I had them marked as dates outside the query editor. Many thanks.

I recommend refreshing each data set one at a time to help isolate which table is throwing off the entire model. I also will add that date is not the only field that could cause this. I not only had an incorrectly classified date field, but also a quant field that was identified as text. After fixing those, it worked.

import all like dates like a number, the functions work in the same way or use the = DATEVALUE(FORMAT(Date[name column], "0000/00/00"))
