That said, there are certain lessons in life people learn too late. And it's not always about regretting the things we have done, either. There are many things old people say they regret never doing in their life!

The biggest regret I have is, it took me too long to realize that gratitude is key to happiness. I lost so much and made mistakes because I didn't realize what I had and was looking for something to make me happy. When I realized, it was my choice whether I was happy or not, not someone or something, and became grateful for everything, it changed my life . Now I know whatever happens, I still have that choice.

It's so easy to look back now at 65 and see if I had the right Nurture, I could really of had a successful life.
