I really enjoyed this video! I was diagnosed with leukemia 7 months ago and had to confront the possibility that I could die. I'm almost done with chemo now and things are looking good but it has been really scary to have to confront death. I can definitely speak for the importance of family and friends, my boyfriend and my family were pretty much all I thought about for a while. Now, my approach to life is completely changed; there is so much to do and enjoy! I wouldn't say that I now have this insatiable drive to do everything but it has made me appreciate the things that I have and the opportunities that I have now. I feel like I'm getting the same life but that it's better because I'm living in the present instead of always worrying about what's going to happen in the future. Find your passions and the things that make you happy and pursue them :)

In Portugal we have an old expression : "quem tem vergonha passa mal"
It translates to something like : "the ones who are ashamed of doing something end up feeling bad with themselves" and thus you should live with courage.
