Mx5 Is Always The Answer (MIATA)

The only issue with the Miata is it cannot be daily driven without massive drawbacks. It has 0 space and does horrible in bad weather even with winter tires. GR86 for the win

how is the Porsche 992 not on here? oh.. wait, "affordable" .. never mind .. 🤣

Shari,
Great video man.
I’ve owned a Mustang GT convertible with the 5 liter (302 CID) with a standard transmission.
It was a custom order, White with a white top, red leather interior and red racing stripes.
I also owned a Miata that was Red with a tan top and interior.
Out of the 2, I enjoyed the Miata the most.
Now that I’m an old duffer, it’s too hard to get into and out of sports cars.
I still have the “Need for Speed”, so I have a Toyota that is fun to drive.
Have a great day, Shari !

Everyone leaves out the mini cooper S. You can't beat it for a budget.

The 2022 BMW 230i coupe! Or the M240i. Affordable luxury coupe with great handling and economical gas mileage.

Fun video. People harp on how underpowered the Subuyota twins and the MX-5 are but don't take in the power to weight ratio. They are fine unless you weigh them down.

Check the monthly insurance price for your options. For some reason, bad drivers in their teens and 20s often buy a used Infiniti, so their insurance premiums are very high.

The 911 Targa does it for me...ahhhh dream car

Honest the 911 isn't even affordable, it's like almost 150K that's not affordable at all

What's differents between manual and automatic gear of miata?! It's all because of fun or they are different in quality?!

The 230i and M240i are Supra substitutes with more practical applications as daily drivers with affordable pricing provided you go easy on options! 😂

I have a car and a truck so I decide on the Miata for my fun car and my SMPH & SMPG are unbeatable.

So V6 Mustangs Camaros Challengers don't make the list with 300+hp. but the Miata does?

Miata.
It defines the term, "Sports Car" in my books. The Miata is the most sophisticated driving experience I've enjoyed, with a 100% purely balanced drive, since owning a Lotus and a Miata and driving many, many others in this class.. The Miata is where the Mustang "boy racer" is hopelessly lost on a winding road like CA HWY 58 from Santa Maguerita to McKittrick, CA, with it's 60+ esses in only a few miles descending into the Big Valley. THAT'S what sports car driving is all about to me.
Simple accelerator mashing and the breast beating that follows, hardly requires much skill whatsoever. But that simplistic, repeated effort will never equal the sheer thrill of hanging your butt out on the apex of a turn, kicking up gravel on the outside tires that are desperately squealing for grip. Then, you punch that accelerator and your Miata instantly responds to the tiniest imputs without fuss, pulling you back from the abyss only inches from a 1000'+ drop, with no guard rail.
Now THAT'S A thrilI.
Miata, or Lotus...PURE MAGIC!!!

Great review. Just to the point as ever.
However I wanted to know why Porsche Cayman or you can say 718 didn't make it to the list?

Good list and the affordability goes up when we approach the end of the video. So I went for the GR86 :)
