This is sooo True....I've learned to be alone rather than with a Toxic individual.

This is why people need to take their time when meeting new people. Especially dating. The toxic doesn't show up on dates. I wish people would slow down and pay attention. 😒

Nobody is that good of a liar or that good of an actor. Talk to them long enough and they will tell on them selves and show who they truly are. Sit back, listen, observe and if your gut tells you something is not right LISTEN to it.

An intimate relationship is not the worst relationship to have with a narcissist. A family relationship is the worst relationship you can have with a

the worst part—they know how to display their character flaws as false humility to draw you in with sympathy and lower your defenses, even make you think that they’re capable of processing and relating to your emotions with the same depth and interest, but over time, you become a doormat, used over and over again, to validate and process their emotions while they spit on you for being human and try to kill that sensitivity and get in your head by calling you weak when it’s the very thing that makes you strong. and they hate you for having it

This is so important to understand. What happens if you stay with a narcissist/toxic person is eventually if you out them, that is you call them
out for who they are, their lies, and their games….they will discard you immediately.

You spend so much time and effort involved with them and if you expose them to themselves, they can throw you away like a piece of trash and never think about you again.

They are sick people.

One of the key signs of a toxic person is they ll always try to cross your healthy boundaries, even though they have no relationship, no friendship and most obviously nothing to do with u.
2. Sign is they consider themselves to be better than anyone else out there.

Narcissists can really make one's life hell.
I think there should be a forum or council of people who have suffered narcissistic abuse.

Just listen to how they talk about other people, their job, coworkers, and generally how they feel about life. That will tell you everything you need to know.

The unfortunate thing is that to become a specialist in detecting these POS is to go through a relationship with one and recover. I now have a superpower to scan for Narcissist, Bpd, histrionics and antisocial psychos. This is an invaluable ability that I am very grateful for despite the cost…

He should do a video on how to detect them. I had to learn the hard way before I knew what a narcissist was. That was hell on earth and I never want to go through that again!!! They are monsters once their true colors come out -after they get their roots in you - great analagy. I'm glad there are videos like this to make people aware of how bad it is to be with a narcissist.

I became that toxic individual and eliminated my friendships because of it. I'm focusing on myself now and don't want to even hear the phrase, "hi, nice to meet you, my name is..." cause I'm not in the business of meeting or having anyone in my life right now. I need to heal and do the work. I don't want to be this way anymore.

Sadly most of us have one or more family members like this, which makes it harder to identify them as we are taught by them “family matters most” and “whatever happens here is no one else’s business” and “blood is thicker than water” and “obey thy mother and father” etc…we are being preened to be victims from out of the womb.

You can leave a toxic relationship by cutting them completely off your life. Don’t approach them drop everything that belongs to them. Cut the cord completely and it ends that simple.

YES, that's how my Mom always has me tripping over my words, people pleasing her, trying to earn her respect. It took me forever to stop engaging. I just speak as little as need be now, and she still gets daggers in me but she never gets the rise or end result out of me that she is working for.

It's never to late. It takes strength to walk away.
