I swear I needed to hear this. I have been doing everything right and that devil of a scale hasn’t NOT moved. However, I can tell that my clothes are fitting much better. THANK YOU!

after a year of body recomp and the scale not really budging, i abandoned it for the most part and started using a shirt and an old pair of shorts to see my progress. it's been so much easier and satisfying to see than a number going down

This has been so true for me this past month. I've been training properly at the gym and eating 140g protein every day, and I can see I'm leaner and my clothes are looser but the scale shows the same weight as it did a month ago. This video shows I am on track and must stay on track to see more results over time and not concern myself with the scale!

I was getting frustrated and upset because I wasn't seeing change on the scale. Had 2 DEXA scans, a few months apart. The second showed I had swapped 1.8kg of fat for 1.2kg of muscle!

And in those few months I had my honeymoon, birthday, christmas, new years, and a trip to Germany.

Yes! Throw out the scale and pay attention to how your clothes fit, how strong you feel and probably look. The number in the scale doesn’t tell the whole story 💪

The tape doesn’t lie -I went from 25 to 21 % body fat in 30 days with little change from the scale.

You couldn’t possibly have jeans in your closet that you USED to fit into.

Unless they’re a size or two too big or you saved a pair from when you were 10.😄😄😄😄😄
But I bet 90% of the people following you do. I know I do. As I sit here berating myself for eating a pint of pralines and cream ice cream last night because it was my birthday. Along with four Guinness.😮😮😮😮
And I know I’m going to climb on the scale in a couple of minutes and then want to take it out and use it as a pistol target.
But…. My belt doesn’t lie to me and neither does my hike tracker nor the weights at the gym.

I’m definitely stronger and faster than I was 8 months ago. So even though the scale seems determined to maintain some sort of gravitational status quo I remain hopeful.
