YES. Finally someone that teaches about proper dimensions! Most other tutorials just start modelling and you get a car the size of a building.

I can't thank you enough! This is the first time I've had a semi easy time modeling a car. Granted this is only my 3rd time, but you've taken the headache out of it. I am so happy how my car is coming out and it's just the first week. Mahalo!

Great.
I also used Autodesk Imagemodeler to put locators on a bunch of photos of one auto from different angles, so matching the perspective.
After that I exported these Locators to Maya, made some adjustments and connected them with Curves. After, just extruded these Curves to surface etc.

Changing the color of the guide is nice if u have a hard time seeing it in persp view
