Things got HOSTILE at this Flea Market

After I retired from the military I wanted to finally do something fun with my hair because anything other than more natural colors wasn’t allowed…anyway i went with blonde with the tips dark purple. I was shopping one day and this man in his 70s looks at me with a disgusted look on his face and asks me why I would do that to my hair. I was shocked that he felt he had the right to ask that. I’ve also had a guy say something about my jeans with holes in them too. You were absolutely right….nobody’s business and speaks volumes to the type of person they are.

I live in Central Florida and my daughter lives in South Florida in the Ft. Lauderdale area . Every time I visit her I am appalled at the rudeness of some of the people down there...its like stepping onto a different planet . The difference in the two regions of the same state is remarkable to say the least . I'm sorry you had such a bad run in of rude people in our state....we aren't all like that 😉.

It’s almost funny in a depressing kind of way that everything that could’ve went wrong at the flea market did. Scammy booth, random lady yelling about being filmed, creepy guy commenting on appearance. It’s the the perfect storm of rudeness and craziness.

I just love you. I was already sad someone yelled at you, but when you admitted to already being a sensitive person, I got a lump in my throat and wished I could go in with you and protect you. You have a great attitude and you are correct, not a single one of us has the right to comment on someone else’s appearance.
