On September 18, 2023, police were dispatched to an escaped pit bull in La Crosse, WI that had residents fearing its aggressive behavior, causing chaos in the neighborhood. Officers located the pit bull on the hood of a van, displaying hostility. While the owner attempted to leash the dog, it unexpectedly charged at one of the officers.

surgical vet tech here. Benadryl has been known to cause hyper aggression in dogs. It can be a negative side effect. It sounded like she gave him a very large amount and they could have cause his aggression to increase.
