Luxury RV Accessories

Today I wanted to share some of the luxury accessories for RVers that we have or have seen. Everything from a hot tub for RVing to smokeless fire pits.
A few of our favorite are Ice makers, memory foam, and an electric fireplace. I am curious what you would add to the list of luxury items for RVers.

Zero gravity chairs my wife got are pretty cool! We have the room to store them & can make for some good napping 😴.

The ice maker is a no-brainer - I use it to fill my cooler. - At $3.50 to $5.00 for a bag of ice, it will pay for itself in no time. I run mine outside.
Propane fire pit - Amazing! Instant on and off, you can use it during a fire ban - and it still does S'Mores and weenies too!
I run mine under the awning (on low) when it's raining. - A "must have".

A good camping chair for outside sitting in front of the fire my wife and I put up a 10x10 canopy and sit under it with our propane fire pit when it raining out it’s quite relaxing 😌

Our two biggies are, the level mate pro and we swapped out our bed for a sleep number bed. Game. Changer!!

We bring things like crystal cocktail glasses, nice dish sets etc. For us it's not camping, it's RVing on weekends. No reason we can't have nice things like at home. We also added a fireplace to our bedroom. Also having an outdoor kitchen worth a 2nd sizeable fridge and microwave has been a real luxury.

Just completed a 3000 mile trip around the west and really enjoyed fresh ice that was always available with our new counter top ice maker. And yes, we are fascinated with how it makes ice.

I added a second fireplace into the bedroom of my fifth wheel. Love it.

The mini split AC unit I added was an absolute game changer. It automatically swaps to a heat pump at night and keeps the camper at a perfect temp (and it's SILENT).

thanks Jarad, I've enjoyed watching your video's for the past couple years and it has helped prepare me for my RV experience starting last year :)
One "luxury tip" I have to add is upgrading the foam in my dinette seating. I took my dinette seat sections to an upholstery shop and had them replace the foam with a higher quality/density foam and it's immensely more comfortable -- best $500 I've spent !!!

I recently replaced the mini fridge in my outdoor kitchen with an ice maker that makes 40lbs a day. It's so much better! I can fit more drinks in my cooler and it's way more convenient when boondocking.

One luxury item we can't live without here in the south is a Thermacell. We hang it on the hand rail outside the door. This keeps the bugs away from the door and mostly away from under the entire awning . No bugs at door means no bugs inside RV when going in and out. Another item we simply can't live without is a 110v/12v portable cooler. We have the Mobicool and it's fantastic. Keep most of your drinks in there, less clutter and access in the fridge, less going in and out of the RV on hot days to get a drink.

Jared, loved the video. I’ll admit the most surprising luxury item in our RV was the electric fireplace. I used to scoff at them and considered them a waste of valuable storage space, but now that we have one, I’ll be the first to admit I love it. We even use it during the summer (with no heat) just for ambiance, but the best thing is how well it heats the trailer without using propane. I laughed at them, but I was wrong.

I have a 2000 Monaco dynasty so it’s pretty well loaded up with nice stuff. The two luxury items I have added or a shop vac and a smoker. The smoker has really changed cooking for me.

Our favorite luxury items are our outside entertainment system (TV), built in ice maker in our residential refrigerator, heated and massage reclining theater seating that faces the flat screen TV over the fireplace, our extra half bath, dual air conditioners, our Keurig, air fryer, and our Select Comfort Sleep Number bed. We also love our large outdoor rug with rocking reclining lawn chairs and our firepit. Automatic leveling jacks and rear and side cameras are a must. Our outdoor shower is also a bonus.

Ok. Some wouldn’t consider it luxurious but other than the bed topper, our zero gravity lawn “recliners” (as we like to call them). They are heavier that most yard chairs but we can really relax in them under our awning while reading or sipping an ice cold soda.
