My dad was a truckdriver and (and became full timer RVer after retirement). I learned very early on to have several pairs of gloves. One for the sewer, one for fuel, one for picking up hot grill grates and others stashed everywhere. Tool boxes, glove compartments, door pockets, etc. The other big thing is use petroleum jelly. He carried a jar in tool boxes, the camper, inside his truck and his trucker ditty bag. Saw that come out once as a kid and grease the hitch. Hmmm learned W-D 40 was pretty invaluable camping, too. Miss him and all he taught me about camping.

IONVAC stick vacuum. Best stick vacuum I have ever owned. $25 from Walmart. Not rechargeable but super suction and super easy to clean. Built well and very sturdy.

I'd add to your list a very stiff broom for sweeping camp mats and a good leaf rake. When the northern campgrounds open for the season, some sites are still covered with the previous Fall's leaves.

I love these kinds of videos. I enjoy seeing what works for other rvers. Especially folks like y’all that are seasoned travelers. Thank you for the video.

Nice list! I’d definitely add a counter top ice maker… and probably a cooler full of beer or something as RVing can be stressful!

Love your list of needs and the most practical version of each item. I also like a portable clothesline. I love the fold up kind or even just a line from two tie up points! Especially for bathing suits. I understand it looks tacky outside, but I still like to hang up outside!

All great ideas. Just an idea, if you could switch to Bamboo cutlery & plates. SO much better for the environment.

I got the Craftsman 20V cordless stick vacuum. It's great and it uses the same batteries as all of my power tools.

So many great items. Not just for RV or camping. Many can be used for small areas as well. I have the Shark Vertex Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner with DuoClean PowerFins and I love it. The "stick" bends so you can easily vacuum under furniture without having to move the furniture or get down on your hands and knees to get under it. It also folds to make it smaller for storage. I find it works well and I've loved mine.

I am five feet tall and love this ladder. I have also pinched myself when collapsing it. So I agree, follow the instructions so you don't hurt yourself with the ladder.

Such a great video. You gave great commentary, but kept it moving so we could see all of your must haves. I am with you on a lot of these products. I feel so validated!! AND I look forward to trying some of the items I haven’t used/heard of before! Thanks so much!

Love Nano tape. I use it in my art studio to hang all sorts of things. And I have one of those small air compressors that I added a pressure control valve to so I can use it with my airbrush, plus I recently used it to air up my giant ball that I need for physical therapy. Great for bicycle tires too.

The insulation square in the roof to keep the cold or hot hair from coming in your roof vents. I sewed handles material handles on them, so they were easy to pull down.

Will definitely get som that you have and we do have a rechargeable stick vac and small wall mountable boxes for extras. We added lean to our screen door so the cold air stays in and we can see out when at a campsite.

Fabulous list. I was surprised that we have so many of these especially since we are in a class B where space is extremely limited. One thing we've done different than most is the bucket. We're using a rectangular window bucket with a lid for storing items then using for a bucket or even doing off grid laundry if needed at times. It just happens to fit really well for us. We also keep a small gas can, emergency strobes and three mini orange cones from the dollar store which can also aid in reserving our spot if we have to run into town. I've already got a collapsible water hose and hadn't even thought about taking it but I love your idea.
