chicken dolsot ~

This is one of my favorite cookware to use - a dolsot! It’s a traditional korean cookware made out of stone that keeps heat in and continues to cook food off the heat. If you’re a fan of crispy rice, then you’ll love this too! You’ll be left with a crispy layer of rice on the bottom - kind of like rice chips.

It reminds me of molcajete which is a Mexican dish that uses lava rock to cook and serve the food in as well

In Malaysia we call this utensil made of rock is "batu lesung". We used it to crush the onions and garlic and chillies

Do you have a Amazon store or links to purchase all the different items that you have/use when preparing food such as ingredients and the utensils pots and pans etc. ? I like the items you use for cooking!! I feel like if I get some things maybe I would try out some recipes of yours 😊, I am not much of a cook so I think this would inspire me to try new things.

Do you heat up the dolsot in the oven or stove burner before adding the rice, to get the sizzle and crusting?

Does the dolsot go directly on the flame of a stove top or does it need to be over those little rack things??
