I modded my 5 drawer cart by adding power tool holder on left side by drilling magnet bar they sell 5/16 drill bit. I proceeded to line up magnets of US GENERAL cordless tool holder with brace on that side but used the magnet bar for the upper hold on lip for the tool holder. Black one instead of green to match drawer strips. It is bolted on with carraige bolts and looks like it came with it. I use magnet tray for Bauer batteries on othe side. Use shelves on both sides and installed handle in front using factory holes. I hang cordless work light on the handle and it fits between the sliding drawers without moving the lightbar. Thx for the video. You inspired me to think of different mods for the 5 drawer cart.

Pro tip: open all the drawers while lid is open, close lid, now drawers will not latch into locked position. You’re welcome

Hmm, US General magnetic power strip on the inside of the lid and a smaller hole for the cord out the back, can color match to boot.

Hey, don't cut off the drawer locking rods, just a couple of screws and you can remove them. Then reinstall if the situation changes.

Yes yes.. line up the cart and cabinet at the rear so it can go against a wall.. and then install the outlet that extends further lol

Where did you find a side box that matches the tool cart all the new ones now are black trim on drawers.

Im just a driveway mechanic so my experience is limited, how the hell do you put a floor jack on that jack holder? I dont even understand the practicality because they already have wheels? Maybe its some racing application as you said and maybe the light will go off for me but i just dont see it

I like that outlet, what size hole is it? And how much does it stick out the back? I'm thinking about adding the side cabinet and mounting it flush to the front of the cart. Then the back of the side cabinet and back of the outlet might be about the same distance away from the back of the tool cart.

I'm considering this on the full bank service cart. Do you have any interest in doing it. Im loving the full bank as its so much more room but I wish it had a few half depth drawers. Some tools I like layed flat a spread out. Like wrenches pliers and screw drivers. I know I can stand them up but like the wrenches its still only half height.
