Just bought the Yukon for $320 on a Parking Lot sale. I’m diy and needed the narrower depth (18”) in my small garage. Very impressed with the quality and finish out of the box. The box is painted completely inside as well. I don’t think the box would be good for someone that has to move around a lot though. The metal is a little thin and the spot welds probably would not hold up to rolling over floor bumps, cracks, and twists repeatedly. It’s perfect for my use in a stationary spot and has a lot of space. Thanks for sharing!

Bought the green 73 inch icon last month for 1800. 25 percent coupon and then the credit card discount. Took 3 weeks to get and I love it. It's my home box.

Great vid, Tony.

I retired as a marine mechanic about 5 years ago, and sold my Snap-On boxes along with 90% of my tools.

Now I just work on my own lawn equipment, and do a little side-work for friends and neighbors out of my tiny 14x20 shed/workshop.

With the limited space, I bought the US General 26" bottom/top combo and have since added their 16" end cabinet and an end locker.

I did a TON of research before buying these, and there are no comparable boxes on the planet with the quality vs. price that the US General line offers.

I looked at all the big box stores, and they were all garbage at that price point.

All in all, I am very happy with my purchase of the US General line.

Is it Snap-On quality? Oh hell no. Is it a perfect choice for a home shop? Oh hell

Nice video! For the price, you can't beat the Series 2 as far as total storage volume - and I agree that it is probably wise to move in on the Series 2 while they're still available. I saved some old HF mail catalogs (I think they stopped sending those mail catalogs in late 2020?): in the June 2020 mail catalog, and that same Series 2 Double Bank 44" x 22" was $499 three years ago. It's $579 now, but you can still get the orange and yellow ones for $499... I guess no one wants the orange and yellow ones??

I think the slate gray is best color, and it would be really cool if HF had that hammered/"matte" finish that Husky has! That's my favorite finish by far - it's so durable and looks nice all the time.

(All my boxes are Husky's, but only because I got them as discounted/damaged/floor models. I think the Husky boxes have better drawer slides than the Series 2 because the Husky's have the "soft close" feature, but none of my Husky's hold as much as the comparable Series 2 boxes)

I just retired a 5 drawer that I bought used 9 years ago. It was still going strong, but pretty beat up and I needed more space. I was trying to sell myself on their full drawer cart, but being on the shorter side it seemed too tall and awkward to reach into the top section. I'd definitely recommend it for someone else though and highly recommend the 5 drawer

I have the Husky 46" 9 drawer cabinet that I bought years ago for $250 I think. It's a janky cabinet and not suited for a shop environment. Cheap drawer slides, thin steel and crapy lock mechanism. It should be fine for a home garage.

The Yukons are good if you need a more shallow box. Otherwise, it can really reduce your options for storing larger tools.
