Right on Garnett. I picked up a used KRSC326 cart from my dealer a couple years back for well under a grand. Same with toolboxes, I’d rather buy a used Snappy than an Icon or U.S. General any day.

Because I live in california and people want $50 off original price for a 20 year old tool cart

Those are outliers. Typically those carts are listed at $1500-2000

Half of the used snap on boxes on marketplace, especially the newer ones, are not paid off. Don’t get scammed!

The harbor freight tool box that's been in my Pas garage for the last 8 years still works just fine. It was less than $700 brand new

Buyers beware of what you buy on these apps. A fellow tech had purchased u.s general tool boxes a few years back and had replaced all the us general decals with Snap on. We had a Snap on representatives that came to the maintenance department to sell us tools. The snap on representative saw this tech tool box briefly inspected the tool box and congratulated him on an amazing snap on collection not knowing it was a us general.

Used SnapOn Carts Hard to come by in California. Those General Carts were on sale for $499 this past week.

Fuck that. Spent 8yrs working on a Snap-on Truck. The quality difference isnt as big as it used to be. Sure the Snap-on is "Better" but comparing "New to New" it's not $1500 better. The US general is $499 all day long, the sales happen every few weeks. After a few years if it starts to fail and can't be fixed I'll just go pick up another one and it'll look mint and brand new (and probably improved) for a similarly reasonable price. Plus I can use my HF Card for zero interest for $50/MONTH. Not $20/WEEK with 18% interest or $100/WEEK on RA.

I love my Snap-On hand tools. And I still prefer them to anything else, but I bought them when $20/week actually got you something.

I work on personnel projects in my garage. I do not need high dollar boxes to hold my tools (which many of also come from harbor frieght). I would rather put extra money into good parts or better tools that I may need. In the grand scheme of things, it's just a box with drawers. So long as it holds things, I'm happy.

I paid $520 after tax for my box. It does the job and I haven't seen one for less than $800 that wasn't all beat to shit. My market sucks I guess.

Don’t listen to this snap on fan boy, as a professional technician with 25 years experience and over $100, 000 in tools and boxes I can tell you don’t worry about the box spend your money on the tools inside, yes marketplace is a good place to buy tools but I have both the snap on and U.S. general service carts and the U.S. general is a little bigger, deeper top for longer handle pry bars, overall they are the same box, yes the snap on has a lifetime warranty on slides and wheels but I believe you get more value for the us general so you can spend the savings on the tools that actually make you money.

$629 brand new vs something overpriced to begin with, used and it's still overpriced. We use the US General where I work on our maintenance cart and they are fantastic for the money. This video is just more silly harbor freight hate.

Depends on where you live what you’ll find on marker place I couldn’t find a box on market place in my area anywhere near that 700$ asking price

HF sells 1000s of these in a day.. so you can send them all the links for the "strap on" that pops up daily...

Unless you got a trailer and time.... This depends greatly on where you live. No way those are popping up long enough for anyone to get them in a large metropolis setting. Very hard to come by in large cities.
