Stockton Mush's Epitaph: "You're remembered for the rules you break."
RIP to the 4 people he murdered.

It was like James Cameron said "His idea wasn't innovative, it was dumb." Spot on.

Not really. I thought it was a glory-seeking idiot who cut corners, refused safety rules and got EXACTLY what was coming, taking innocent people with him.

"You're remembered for the rules you break"
Stockton has surely achieved this goal.

I'm just here to discover how the heck it could possibly be worse than what happened.

Howling against all oversight and regulation, this is what happens when money amd arrogance combine to escape accountability.

Nope it's not worse than I thought.
It's exactly the same thought.
Another video that gives you absolutely no new information

A sightseeing trip that requires you to sign a death waiver, and put your life in the hands of an oddball narcissist would be a no from me

There is absolutely NO reason to go to the Titanic wreck. Rich kids showing off their money, being taken in by a guy who didn't believe in safety, it's hard to feel bad for any of them.

CEO Rush did one thing good, he named his company already with the -Gate for scandal. Ty Rush OceanGate will be remembered.

There was nothing innovative about the titan. His only idea was its shape to hold 5 people instead of the usual 2 or three and to use carbon fiber to make it lighter. In fact the titan is twice as big and half the weight of the famous submersible the Alvin. But there is a reason that the Alvin is so small and heavy, a reason rush denied because he was so enamored of his own idea. In fact the whole craft was flimsy and cheap. A truly innovative submersible is the triest. That was built in 1953 in Switzerland . It went safely down to three times the depth of the titan and was in service for years. It
still exists and is on display at the us navy museum.

They had the money to make a submarine entirely out of titanium and they could have survived but they chose the cheap route of using materials that would buckle under great pressure and that's stupid.😅

This still gives me the chills on how they all disappeared.

The paperwork they signed before going points out that it’s experimental and mentions the possibility of death THREE times. Those passengers knew exactly what they were signing on for. Just like people know when they’re about to climb Everest or jumping out of an airplane, but they still do it because they want the thrill. People are allowed to take risks whey’re adults. The only one I feel sorry for is the son. He did not want to go. But it was his own father that convinced him to do it.

we already know Titan catastrophically imploded killing everyone instantaneously - how could it be worse?

Stockton Rush's greed and his passengers' naivety led to tragedy. Having money does not equate to having intelligence. Tragic. Rush will be remembered for his disregard to safety, lack of concern of others, and abject greed.

You had no new information about the failure and didn't even try talking to some more experts. The interface between the titanium and the composite was almost certainly the point of failure. The inner lip of the Titanium part of the joint is sheared off in the wreckage. You didn't even show the pictures of that.
