This video I'll show you how I made my own pendent lights. For free if you are a hoarder like me!
The 3/4" steel was left over from a previous project, the light fixtures were scavenges from scrap lights, chain was left over from who knows what project, and lamp cord from, well, old lamps!!
If you don't have the tools then Do NOT spend the big bucks. Go to Harbor Freight and pick up a cheap welder, angle grinder, metal chop saw and you are set!

Great home made project for cutting, grinding, and welding!
I've added in a couple tips and Tricks to making your MIG or Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) or gasless MIG welds looking AWESOME!

Here are some of the tools I use:
If planning on doing a lot of projects I'd suggest the Evolution:
Same as the chop saw, if doing a bunch get a better quality one:
Sky is the limit with welders (check out my other videos)!

Too wet and nasty from storms here, to weld out in the carport, but I'm heading for Tractor Supply this weekend to stock up on tubing, wire, and chains, for my first project of the year! I contemplated a few times, trying these, but I've been staring at my current kitchen lighting, and the lightbulb came on over my head! Not the kitchen light, the thought bubble light...heck, you know what I meant!

You made it look so easy. I mean, if YOU can do it, ANYBODY can....right?! LOL!
