My fingers hv been soaking in cool water for a while, no relief once pulled out of the water

Putting the hand in/out of the water already keep the temperature check, so yep no ice burn here. Sad it takes so many hours for the pain to go away.
One time I had to sleep with a bucket next to the bed at arms reach to get some sleep while keeping the pain at bay.

Naw it's been 4 hours and my burned finger still hurts. Cold water is the only thing that relieves the pain :(

The best thing was for me to go to the drug store and buy things specifically for the burn because I was running water on it for hours and the pain never subsided. I also took an ice pack and put it on the burn ( not directly on the skin you're supposed to wrap the ice pack in cloth first) and immediately took some painkillers.

My current situation 😂 u guess I don't listen because this ice is doing justice. I packed the ice in zip lock bags and wrapped it 😂

Ight, ima tell y’all how to really help a burn, cuz I just basically lit my finger on fire. So! What you gonna do, run it under tap water for prolly 20 minutes. Then you’re gonna take a cup and fill it up with tap water, LISTEN: NOT ICE WATER! NO NO NO! Room temp water! Soak your finger for about 45 mins, put ointment on and back into water.soak for another 30 ish mins. You should be able to do stuff and only dip your fingers occasionally.
