I've never liked fret wraps. they are excellent for recording but when playing live or something you look silly with it being there. it can also cause bad habits to be learned like not learning proper palm muting and a dependency on them. just my opinion though. still love your vids man! keep it up

Fun thing is. I just recently started watching your videos and you really helped me out with so much in just on week. Now yesterday i wanted to learn tapping and it is hard cuz of the other strings right. And also i was wondering all the time whats the purpose of these things wrapping the guitarneck. I think when your trying to tap on all the strings going up from high e to low e is easier than tapping down the strings from low e to high e cause when your going up the strings your fretting hand usually mutes the unused strings where when you go down the strings you gotta use your picking hand to mute the unused strings

I can see the benefits of that when recording, but you can't have that on live sets for open chords. Learning how to properly palm mute is a must. Even Eddie Van Halen nerve used foam and he tapped all the time.
