I think my dog is having seizures: now what? A presentation about the causes and treatment of canine seizures

Led by Susan Arnold, DVM, DACVIM

Watching a beloved pet experience a seizure or a seizure-like event is stressful. This session is focused on helping dog owners to recognize seizures, to learn about what causes seizures and how veterinarians can help diagnose the underlying causes, and to learn about how we treat seizures in dogs. Our goal is to help pet owners understand seizures better in order to help make seizure management less daunting for pet owners.

I listen to all of these presentations

They are so helpful, I can't even tell you how helpful.

Veterinarians today are so over booked, and starting to burn out for several legitimate reasons. They are less able to sit with the client and explain in detail the disease process and treatments.

These presentations are helping me understand, and make better decisions for my dog.

Also I know now that videos I take are correctly done, and putting them on YouTube and sending vet the link was a good choice, but the vet needs to view them to be helpful.

My dog has generalized tremors, I believe secondary to heart disease.
