My mom is a therapist and her therapy dog goes in to “play” mode when his special leash is not on. Dogs know when they need to be in “work” mode and it’s the most beautiful thing that these creatures are just so brilliant.

Seeing the difference between working Mr. Maple and dog Mr. Maple is one of my favorite parts of this channel. I never really thought of a service dog as being to be able to be off duty before. It is nice to know they get to have a work life balance. Curious how that works in dogs trained for other things, but you helped me see the bond between dog and handler, and that their playful sides don't get worked out of them. So I feel more confident they all do find ways to enjoy life.
