That is absolutely insane numbers for a single player game. This game just put all western Studios on alert. If they don’t step it up, the east is absolutely going to dominate the wests gaming market. This is absolute proof of the modern audience myth is just that. It’s also proof that gamers have been starving for something good. How can somebody go play StarWars outlaws or AC shadows after this. The US AAA gaming industry is an embarrassing joke.

Game is phenomenal. God of War/Jedi are bad examples for what to expect, although I get why people say those comparisons. There are no QTE’s and the story takes a backseat. It also has a ton of secrets but does not hold your hand in making your way through the world at all. It’s more like a less hard Sekiro. That would be the best way to describe it. If someone is looking for a story heavy narrative game like GoW, that is not this. Although you can tell a lot of passion was poured into Wukong and the cutscenes it does have are excellent.

Yes! Wukong has just been released and it's already an instant phenomenon! Second biggest peak in Steam history in a matter of hours, very impressive! Even more so because it's a single player game, this is excellent!
