I was practicing swapping the other night so I can finally ditch a bunch of unneeded Endurance, and this was driving me nuts. I went online to see if something like this was possible, and couldn't find anything. Hitting start is so obvious, it's painful that I didn't think to try it, lol.

Here's another helpful tip. If you organize your inventory to have a parry shield in your first slot you can quickly remove your weapon and quick swap into your shield since it'll default on your first slot. If you practice this a few times on enemies in the game you'll quickly become masters at it

just press the menu button to back out of the menu, its the same in all the games tbh.
