If you're going into liberal arts you really need to get a graduate degree because that's what most positions require. Example master's in psychology, social work, education, even PhD's for grad schools but you can get paid well in those fields if you get a graduate degree. The problem with *just* an undergrad is that liberal arts jobs are highly competitive to get with just a BA only.

I read that you need a masters degree to be eligible for that job and a doctorate to be competitive. The field is super competitive.

I had no idea economics was considered a liberal art. I thought it was a business degree, rather than a liberal arts degree.

Once they get to master's level and up, all the laughs are gone. For example, undergraduate psychology is a popular target to represent but when it turns into (usually) clinical psychology in their masters program, they are nearly treated as a doctor with at-least doubled up salary
