Just so every knows, you cannot repeat this stuff on your second character like you have be able to since the beginning. I switched to my second character and it said the Hao's was already open and he sends you a text that he has a free car for you BUT the car is NOT free. Oh yeah, everything that was broken in the game on last gen is still broken on new gen.

So this does not work anymore, the ls car meet is unlocked by default now, but i cannot for the life of me get a car with the hws upgrades. I tried the banshee and the sentinel xs both wont allow me to upgrade to HWS or even show the upgrades...

When it says “the first upgrade is free” does that mean literally like if you buy the performance upgrade for the brakes like that’s it you have to pay for everything else? Or do they mean like how you pay $700, 000 to upgrade the elegy to the elegy retro custom and it changes the whole car? I’m confused
