All new the 2023 Acura Integra hopes to rekindle a long lost love and appreciation for affordable, low powered sports cars, like the Volkswagen GTI, BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, and Audi A3. Built on the same chassis as the Civic Si, can the 2023 Acura Integra A-Spec find its groove in a market that's had trouble gaining traction in the US? Let's find out!

Huge thank you to Ira Acura for letting me stop by to film the 2023 Acura Integra A-Spec!

I chose the ACURA Integra A-Spec Tech mainly due to its manual transmission, an increasingly rare feature in the entry-level luxury segment at this price point. My other vehicle is a BMW X7 M60i, which offers the power of a V8 and a third row for family use, alongside my Mercedes-Benz GLE580, also equipped with a robust V8. Despite these more significant, powerful cars, I genuinely appreciate driving the Integra—the 200 HP it provides and the manual transmission create a unique connection that I value.

If a manual transmission option was available in the BMW 2 Series Grand Coupe or the Mercedes-Benz GLA, I might not have considered the ACURA at all. Honda clearly understands the preferences of buyers like me, making a commendable move in the entry-level near-luxury market. Without this option, I might have found myself back in a Civic, reminiscent of my younger days, though I have certainly moved past that stage as my tastes have evolved over the years.

I bought a 2024 Integra base model to replace my 2015 VW Golf 1.8 TSI S 5MT 2-door. I like the extra power the Integra offers over the Golf; how the car feels a bit more premium than mainstream offerings; the controls are quite easy to use; the convenience features like the keyless entry, push-button start, Apple CarPlay and five-door hatchback practicality; and upscale features like automatic climate control, heated seats, and a sunroof. I also like how I am driving something uncommon as I see a lot more 11th-generation Civics on the roads than new Integras, along with the free routine maintenance that comes with the car. Overall, I feel the car is a good value package for those who are looking for something fun to drive, reliable, upscale, and practical.

The standard CVT doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. I like the Brake Hold feature for the stop-and-go driving that's typical around the Boston area, and I actually feel refreshed when I arrive at my destination, as I wasn't working my legs and arms out by shifting gears (that said, I loved the manual transmission of my Golf and if the 6MT was available in the base Integra, I would have bought it).

9th day in and I love it and my wife loves it and children too. I loved my 1992 4 door white with all blue interior and I love my 2023 Elite a spec Canada 🇨🇦 version and love it for what it is not based on other brands or past. Fast enough, luxurious enough, more than the awesome SI enough, technology enough, ride handling and performance more than enough....fun factors...amazing and awesome.

I just paid a deposit an A Spec package today. I found this video because I wanted to see a review of one without the technology package specifically. I feel like I may be missing out a little on the 9 inch touchscreen, but this video convinced me that I will be more than satisfied with what I'm getting. I definitely identify as someone that could not get a Civic hatchback. I've tried for the past 6 months and the dealers told me it would take 6 months to get and marked those up so much that I am literally getting this Integra for 3K less than the prices quoted to me by my local Honda dealers! I'm excited. I just hope the the stereo on the non tech pkg is at least slightly above adequate and I'll be more than pleased.

Why the need to revive the Integra? How's it different from the TLX, RLX, ILX?

Get this, someone told me when they discontinue the RSX in 2011, Acura would bring a better sports car. I was excited. I was stoked. Turns out it was the ILX. Complete disappointment! 2022, Acura restored my faith in Acura.

Disappointed with ambient lighting. It should be like the MDX. As a luxury brand, it should have a panoramic sunroof and a larger infotainment screen. The dashboard should be inspired by the MDX in order to create a distinctive image from the Civic.
