Is the new Integra overpriced? Yes. Did I just buy the manual Integra this past weekend anyway? Also yes.

If u want an old integra - they’re pretty cheap at $90k. 😂😂😂

These are both incredibly nice. Since the US spec Si isn’t as optioned up, it helps support choosing an Integra over an Si if you want more features. I wouldn’t have a problem with either one- I’d choose black for the paint color regardless of model, but man it would be a tough choice, they’re both so good looking. Both interiors look great. I’d probably choose the Acura solely because it’ll be less common on the streets.

I don’t know about Canada but having to go through a dealer for a new car in America makes the actual purchase price a huge determining factor and as many have said Civic Si markups made choosing the Integra 6MT at MSRP a no-brainer for me.

10k? You mean 2k. The marknup us HILARIOUS!

Honda has lost their minds. Their current Civic Si's in America isn't even worth more than $25K. Honestly, I wouldn't even pay more than 24K. Idc about the economy, supply and demand etc. It's bs.

It's a civic, Honda. Chill out.

So, I took possession of a white on red interior 6MT a few weeks ago, from Kingston Acura. The Civic Si having been my very first car, and now just coming out of a 4 series, I would not even have considered the Si although it’s a great car. The Integra’s adaptive suspension makes a significant difference over Ottawa streets, and it is a LOT of fun to drive and very engaging. The sound system is truly amazing when I want to listen to it instead of the drivetrain. The dash has a nice combination of real buttons and wireless Apple and Android functionality. Cargo is massive and competes well with compact SUVs. If we were only to buy cars based on an intellectual analysis, there would be no luxury or sports cars anywhere, and we would all be driving very basic automobiles. But I know that’s not always why people buy cars, sometimes the heart kicks in and our head gets shoved in the trunk, which is a vey good thing!

I think the Intega interior is called "leatherette". Power driver seat, manual passenger seat. I prefer the looks of the Civic Hatch. Too bad they didn't do the Si as a hatch

I bought an integra at msrp last week, I was looking at the civic si and was dead on it until I couldn’t find one at msrp let alone if I did you would have to wait 6 months to a year to get one. With the mark up on the si I figure might as well get the integra for a little bit more luxury and features. Being as the civic si America has been butchered compared to the Si Canada it just made sense to me to just go with the integra. Sure there are lucky people who can get them at msrp but it’s almost impossible in houston Tx.

I LOVED the look and feel of the old school Integras. This new one just doesn't have the same magic :(

Been 105° everyday for 4 months here in Texas. They can keep the heated everything in perpetuity.

I like the Integra I feel like what would’ve made it even better is if it had a bit more power, maybe 250 horsepower and 260 pound ft of torque would’ve made it better. Just my opinion. I really like how it comes in manual.

the hatch configuration increases price, too. its not JUST the seats, heated stuff, and stereo. Everyones forgetting that in the comparison :) Personally, even with the higher load floor, the fastback/hatch is still the way to go as a lifestyle necessity. :)

Honda did make the new Si worse to justify the existence of the Integra. You guys hit the nail on the head.

Nice video I LOVED the look and feel of the old school Integras.

Acura could have given the Integra a measly 25 more hp reliably and it would have helped make that gap feel less big.

I've found the difference in price is actually closer to $4k.

Most Integras are getting sold at MSRP. I've yet to find an Si below $32k (USD).

(Canadian) Civic Sedan Touring with a stage 1 tune. That solves most of the problems/questions other than the manual. Want manual, get the Sport Touring Hatch for only a couple grand more. (Oh and a light tune on the Touring sedan will be more than safe as it is extremely likely that the CVT in the two cars are the same and there is a lot of headroom left in the CVT in the Civic)

I love the idea of an Si or an Integra but having now owned a 22 Touring Sedan for a year, the creature comforts and leather and whatnot are not worth giving up but the price for the Integra is simply not worth it. For Integra A-Spec manual money, you can get an Accord Touring 2.0T and have WAY more car and WAY more power.

People need to stop saying the Integra always was a luxury Civic, wrong. The base Integra of 90's and early 2001 always had a better DOHC engine, including the GS and GSR's. Civic's had a SOHC.

50+ Integra upgrades and differences from US Civic (2024)

I traded my Civic Si (2020) for a 2024 6-speed Integra. Below are the differences between the 2024 Integra 6-speed and the 2024 Civic Si that helped sway my decision. As you can see below, there are way more differences (at least 50) than are spoken of in any YouTube videos. Hope this helps those of you trying figure out the differences. BTW, as a former Si driver, I have ZERO regrets. The Integra retains the fun-factor of my Si, but also gives me all the premium upgrades I was missing—such a great real-world daily driver. UPDATE: Things I’ve learned after putting 3, 000+ miles on the Integra:

- The Integra is missing the occasional dash rattles that my Civic Si had. It may have better fitment, adhesives, or quality control. At any rate, I’m very impressed, because that was a concern of mine during the buying process.
- In sport mode and on the same roads, my Integra feels as peppy as my Si, but like the Si, the Integra isn’t built for all out performance.
- For the first 3, 000 miles I have averaged over 35 mpg on premium. I have mixed city and highway on my commute. I occasionally open it up for a pull, but drive conservatively most of the time. On the interstate I’ve averaged over 40 mpg. Thrash it a lot and you’ll likely STILL get high 20’s.
- I knew the ELS Studio 3D system was highly rated. But even so, I am floored every single day when I hear nuances in my favorite playlists and songs that I never noticed before because the previous systems just couldn’t do it. I had upgraded my Si with JL Audio mid-range and both Infinity and Kicker subs—the Si sounded way better than stock. However, this ELS system is not only in a different ballpark, it’s on a different planet. I read from a car reviewer that outside of Acura you can’t get this level of sound unless you fork out $60, 000 or more. That, I can’t confirm. However, I can easily say it’s the best I’ve ever heard—and I’ve been in many cars. The Bose I had in my GMC Yukon pales in comparison.
- So far, the only thing I miss from my Si since buying the Integra is the center console. The Integra’s armrest storage bin is a bit smaller.

5k miles now and still VERY happy. The Integra hit the sweet spot for me for affordable luxury and fun.
