I love fried sweet potatoes! We have them sometimes. I add brown sugar and LOTS of butter and a dash of salt and cook till crispy and soft

I add oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, basil, crushed peppers, salt, and pepper (while I fry them in low heat for a while _ also spread some ketchup on them while frying--then finish in medium heat. YUMMY YUMMY!

I'm so happy I found this channel.  I added some onion and made two sunny side up eggs to put on top.  I eat it after I lift

We make sweet potato hash. Same cubed sweet potato, fried with onions and bacon in butter. Then caramelized brown sugar at the end.

Yayyyy! Another great recipe! I am on a leaky gut healing diet and can't eat potatoes. So this is prefect! Have you tried frying yucca root? It's delicious!

Awesome channel dude.  People laugh when I get serious about my cast iron.  It's in my top 10 essentials for life.  Someone in my extended family once destroyed years worth of seasoning when she scrubbed and soaped the crap out of one of my main skillets... one that is stove-top 24/7.  I still find it hard to forgive her...

Just did this, but all my potatoes stuck to the pan, and the crispy sear is all black and stuck to the pan. This happened when I fried normal potatoes too. My cast iron is 2 weeks in use, I've seasoned it, and recoat with oil after each use, am I doing something wrong that makes things always stick? Or does the non stick build up over time? Thanks.

One thing I noticed that you do is you ad butter before the pan is hot. everything I've ever heard or read says to let the pan warm, then add oil (butter), let that warm then add food. is there a reason why you do it the way you do

Alright. Bet. I’ll try to make this, small lid and all. Let’s see how it turns out.

Edit. Took about an hour or two to cook. (Honestly probably was good in the first half hour, but I was trying to dry the shit out of this. It never got crispy dry on the inside), but damn is it actually tasty.
