Great job cleaning up and organizing the back porch. Really love the new topiary planters. Good idea to create the staging area for your future planting projects. Glad to see those cala lilies blooming in their pots. Mine are all in the ground and looking marvelous with red, yellow and peach blooms! I picked several and used them in a flower arrangement with some zinnias and purple sage filler and it's going on week two and they still look good!

We added French drains to our new home several years ago and we rented a trencher from our local hardware store to do the digging for us. That might be an option if you choose not to hire someone to do it. It cost $ to rent, but saved backs, arms, and shoulders! 😀

It’s just still amazing to me how you are technically in the same zone as me, but my ranunculus are just getting going and you are talking about your petunias burning out soon. Your patio looks amazing! Nothing better than a good organizing clean up to make it feel like a whole new space. Just think, if you never messed it up, you’d never get to experience that satisfaction. I tell myself as I look at both my garden AND my house, lol.

We all have those areas it’s a sign of a true gardener. I also put iron on my lemons as they like it and are also heavy feeders. To get the iron I just pick up rusty old disused things from op shops or the dump shop. It’s cheap and can add character. Cheers 🇦🇺 Bronwyn
