I started playing cyberpunk about a month ago, and I’ve already completed two playthroughs of it (I’m on my third now). I had low expectations given what the launch had been like, but I was completely blown away at how great it was. While it’s definitely not perfect, it’s still one of the greatest games I’ve ever played. The combat is some of the most fun I’ve had in an rpg and the story left a big impact. The amount of post playthrough depression I had was huge because of just how good it all was.

You can fix bugs but you can't fix a bad story. Cyberpunk has an amazing story

The fact that CD could’ve just taken the money and ran after 7 years of hyping people up but they didn’t and continued trying to fix the game as much as they could, gives me some of the highest respect for a game development studio, no telling people that they should get used to not owning games they paid for, no trying to make the game based on microtransactions, no lies, just a very rough start, but they kept on going, mad props to them

Gotta give CD the respect they deserve for not just calling it an L and leaving Cyberpunk to be forgotten.

People can bitch about CDPR as much as they want but unlike Ubisoft, EA and various others, these guys stay true to their word.

I'm glad Cyberpunk had the glow-up it did. The story-writing is 10/10 in my opinion and was the first game to really make me think about life in general, it's a really deep narrative.

I'm incredibly old for a gamer. I played Pong when it first appeared in arcades, graduating through Space Invaders and Asteroids into my first PC games, Quake and Doom. There have been a LOT of advances in my time... all leading up to the game experience I yearned and envisaged from the start... Cyberpunk 2077. I got through the initial release, with the aid of a decent, best specs I could afford pc, that got me through my first playthrough, with virtually none of the problems experienced by others, especially console players. After that first playthrough, I just put it away though, dipping in for a few hours when new patches came out, as there was literally nothing new to do, bar a few short side gigs.

I picked it up again after 2.0 (but with a delay because I was kinda involved with Starfield)... with the same pc built for the initial release... and was blown away by the improvements. I got Phantom Liberty a couple of weeks ago, having built V back up close to the badass he was in my first playthrough, and am now totally engrossed in this digital masterpiece, without any mod enhancements, as I don't feel the need. Phantom Liberty and the vastly improved UI make it, without a doubt, the best gaming experience I've had in my life... and I'm 71

what i love about this game is how it isnt really hyper dark to the point you feel nothing nor is it perfectly happy its just the right amount of bittersweet for me

For me, it's one of the best game with a remarkable story in my lifetime. Also must give credit to the architecture and environment of the game. Truly amazing!

It's crazy that they got so many chances, and In the end they actually sold a lot. The company doesn't deserve it but the developers definitely do.

Started playing Cyberpunk since 1.5 patch. Completed the game and was waiting for the Phantom Liberty and 2.1 patch. It is my second playthrough, I'm already played 70 hours on my this second save. And I have a plans to make it third time. My favorite game, can't imagine gaming without this masterpiece.

Cyberpunk became one of my favourite games even when it was first released. I found the story, the characters, and the music so awesome that I could ignore/accept the bugs.

I bought the game back when it was released for PC. Never had a problem. Played it through 3 times. Now with Phantom liberty, it's like a different game with even better gameplay. On my fourth playthrough now and already planning the fifth 😊

I bought the game few months ago when it went on sale for like 19.99 or 29.99 (can’t remember)but didn’t start playing until couple weeks ago. This game is amazing and might even be my top 3 favorite game of all times

I don't think a game has ever completely turned itself around ever in gaming history like Cyberpunk did. Especially in the updates that came with Phantom Liberty. It's one of my top ten of all time at this point.

I played cyberpunk off preorder and lost 30+ hours of gameplay. After a few years its one of the best of the decade. And my heart is always with V.
