So long, Windows 8.1 and Windows 8.

In this video, I go over many development builds of Windows 8. Showing how we gone from the simple Start menu, to the infamous Metro Start, and going over many features of Windows 8 during its development.

Fantastic video! Probably one of the best videos about Windows 8's betas.

You missed 7927, 8014 and 8400 though.

BTW, how did you get Zero Gravity, CheckM8 and Memories working? They crash for me!

Microsoft going so far as to remove screen readers will make the Windows 8 portion very difficult to cover for a series I had planned, but then cancelled due to the nature of NT 5 builds. Either Microsoft was getting so concerned that the changes to Narrator would get leaked (along with their internal redpill tool) or there is an installation bug in Windows 8.

Also, are you planning to redo the other development builds (2000, Me, etc) with narration over them?

fyi, the only reason charms are 'broken' in 7878 is because you had compositing disabled.

iirc they, well, already require compositing

Windows 8 also have some interesting builds. 8102 eeap and 8064 are builds that don't have a start screen. 8331 is the build that is in pseudo, which is a method of localization testing
