I don't understand how leaving mines, works, or demining the area? If it was me I'd be forgetting where I put my own mines😅but humans are very advanced, and clever, clearing mines seems so dangerous and complicated.

DC comics once made a Batman comic about Batman saving a young girl from a mine field then translated it and gave it away for free to countries that were dealing with left over mines and was directly contributed to a reduction of children's deaths and injuries as a result mine accidents. Maybe someone should get a hold of who ever is running DC and see if they can't bring that comic out of storage and do the same for Ukraine

That is definitely one job I would never dream of taking. You're very first step could be your last. The courage it must take to do this day in and day out is amazing but they feel it is their duty so that infrastructure repair can begin. Damn Russians. A mine that a child can set off is horrifying. 11lbs is less than the wait of an average toddler. Mines should be banned in all wars all over the world. Unfortunately no one wants to ban them because they are about a dollar a piece and do a lot of damage for years and often outlast the war and continue to operate killing or maiming civilians, many of whom are children and livestock.
