I have a new 3D Printer so I decided by first job was to print an exact 1:1 replica of the famous Pharaoh Khufu ivory statuette, the builder of the Great Pyramid. Let me know what you think!

Makes you really notice his head is slightly tilted when it's plain white. I wonder if it's a mistake and since this is such a small piece it went unnoticed by Pharaoh or if it's intentional and means something.

I was aware of the statue but, for one reason or another, had never realised it was made of ivory, until now.

The real statue is tucked in the back of one of the rooms in the Cairo Museum. I couldn’t believe they don’t showcase that statue more given it’s the only statue of Khufu who “supposedly” built the Great Pyramid.
