Sales speach: "Buy russian tanks. You will have no wounded soldiers to worry about."

Funny how just a few years ago, people thought Putin was playing 4D chess. Turns out he was playing tick tack toe.

FINLAND: If nothing else taught us, it was the last war with Russia/Soviet Union. Back then we still had guns with the same ammunition as they did, due to the fact both were using the guns from the former Russian Empire. So we could capture ammo, sometimes decent guns from the Soviets. There's a good reason why a small and not-so-wealthy country would have matching weaponry and ammunition as their enemy.

I watched a video from a Russian soldier at a Russian missile defense site. Two Storm Shadows flew over the missile defense system. The Russian was running away while filming because he thought he was about to die.

Sales pitch "Buying Russian tanks helps you begin your space program. After the autoloader explodes, your crew gets to enter orbit. Some reassembly required."

How can this be? I just recently saw Putin telling Russian citizens that Russian weapons are superior to other countries.

They won't have much left to export at their current burn rate. Soviet stocks are antiquated and old western stock is now affordable and more capable.

It is going to be difficult for Russia to sell its SAM systems when Russia keeps claiming that their aircraft loses are due to friendly fire.

The swift rise of the French sales have also participated in the fall of Russia's profits, because the space was closing faster and faster before 2022's war in Ukraine

Ruusia's weapons and infact their status as a super powed is very much in question. Better to be thought to be a super power than to start a war and prove you're not a super power.

russia has a long and illustrious history of exaggeration when it comes to unveiling new defense technologies.

Let's be honest. There is a reason that even Russians prefer Western tech and pay huge bounties for capturing them in Ukraine.

It's wrong to say Finland have relied heavily on Russian weapons. We haven't bought weapons from them since SU collapse. From SU, we got some small caliber cannons, ifv's, offroad trucks, buk missiles and few migs. That was mostly because trade with SU was fixed exchange, and it was very difficult to find anything usable there. SU weaponry was never on majority. We had lots of own production and weapons from sweden and europe.
