That has to be rough on the pilot's conscience.

I cannot imagine what the pilot must be feeling. I dont know how i could cope with the survivor's guilt, much less in any kind of healthy or productive way.

Nepal is almost entirely high-elevation flying;
Aircraft do not behave the same when taking off or landing at high altitude facilities. The margin of error is so much smaller Takeoff and landing speeds need to be higher, runways need to be longer and the climbout or approaches to and from the airport are very difficult in mountainous terrain.

Nepal has the highest mountain(s) in the world making it very advantageous to air travel..

Tf? Why would you interview someone from New Delhi, India?? You couldn’t get someone from Kathmandu, Nepal, you know, someone who would know more about this??

A CRJ 200 is not a small plane ...and these planes don't have 1 pilot, the other pilot and possibly 1 to 2 flight attendants are among the 18 people who died

Density altitude, turbulent winds aloft definitely factors.

He didn’t explained why the crashes are happening. Its not terrain, weather. Planes are supposed to operate on that. Its because of irregular check up, compromise in pilot trainings, lack of rescue operations in time, not proper monitoring, etc which causes these accidents

It was going for a C-check. That's a fairly extensive check around every 2 years ( depending on flight hours) the aircraft was 23 years old.

One main reason why flying planes is very difficult in Nepal is that Nepal has an average elevation of 10, 712 feet (3, 265 meters) above sea level. The air is much thinner and planes have a challenging time getting lift.

From what I understand, the airport is particularly difficult to get in and out of. So sorry to the victims families.

If you visit Nepal, please don't use their plane because they don't take care of the plane. They give more importance to money than human life.

You could not find anyone from Nepal? Seriously???? You had to talk to someone in India?

Nose down and upside down. The impact crushed the cockpit first; I'm skeptical that the pilot survived. He'd have to be in ultra-critical condition.

They seem to have a lot of crashes in that country
