10minute rant brought down to a few seconds: Everyone has their own way of playing games and I didn't find people with the same mindset as my own.

Multiple times I've told people in my lobby that I'm waiting for a friend to join and they can leave if they want. They stayed and waited every time, sometimes for over 15 minutes. I have never once encountered a toxic helldiver. Do they exist? Sure. But I've played almost every day since launch and haven't come across even one asshole.

The problem is that if you don't like how they are doing their game then don't play it. Their logo and I agree with it "A game for everyone is a game for noone". Nothing is perfect and doing one thing will make one playrabse happy and the other mad. So they make the decision, you are in the "im mad" camp. Either deal with it, or understand "this game is not for me" and stop playing. it's that simple

One of the only problems I have with the game is the modifier that limits the stratagem count.... it's just limiting the most entertaining/fun part of the game

My take: It's an Objective-based game, and the reason people play, is to succeed and get rewards. Up to 4 people have decided to invest up to an hour of their day, to accomplish that objective. They don't invest their time to fail. If you are not pulling your weight; If you don't figure out the game mechanics; YOU are wasting everyone's time. Not knowing enemy names is fine. Not knowing how to defeat them is not fine.

You’re over generalizing your anecdotal experiences. If some people are bad, I just don’t reinforce or do so when I can ensure they won’t engage the forever reinforcements.

The devs having standards for the people that play their game is not a net negative like you elude to. I have to agree with some others here about growing a pair man. NGL, you sound like a software engineer with how critical you are about the little 💩. The game is a net positive for people who are tired of being taken advantage of by AAA companies.

If you’re this bothered by what you said in the video…then take a break man or just lock your game to friends only. Or go outside for Pete’s sake.

I have been playing helldivers for about 3 weeks now and I haven't met a toxic person yet.

I overall enjoy the game very much. My biggest gripe is the constant crashing(I’m on PS5). It feels like every update it gets worse. Also I kind of wish instead of nerfing the op weapons, they buffed all the other ones a bit and made them more viable.

I play on 8, the challenge is almost ridiculous. My playstyle if I'm caught in the open I'm dead almost instantly. And the devastators are just the bane of game play.

I think it's pretty insane at times.

As for the toxicity if seen it with a few people sure. For some reason they snap at lower levels who join 7 and 8 difficulty. I never understood why they have to vent about another player over the mic. But hey alot of PC players are on the game and the toxicity makes sense.

I just play and kick ragers like that. They don't belong on my fireteam. I've soloed 8s I don't need your sickle cannon meta with a side of bad attitude to help me clear the mission.

Sorry that some people can't take criticism.

The "skill issue" comment was in response to people complaining that they can no longer use a broken op strat on a weapon that is still good after it got nerfed. People don't realize that the weapons in this game are not supposed to be good against everything in every situation
