Browser Test: Chrome 4 vs. Firefox 3.6 vs. Internet Explorer 8 vs. Opera 10.5 vs. Safari 4

In this video I go over all five main browsers to see which is the best of the best. The winner was very surprising to me, but what do you think? Be sure to leave what you use in your main browser in the comments.

I hear you. Before I tried Opera 10 for a short time I thought it was decent, but 10.5 is just awesome. Can't wait until it gets out of alpha, I very well might switch to it.

I hear you there, for OS X Safari is much better than on Windows. But Firefox is always useful no matter what you use just because you always seem to need it for some reason haha.

Same here, I keep them all on my computer and my main is Chrome and my second (for random web surfing) is Opera. Both really are great.

Are you? Cool. You won't be disappointed, Chrome and Safari are quite similar. The main differences are Chrome is a bit faster, the tabs are on top and you have the Omnibar (which is just awesome).

No it doesn't. There are certain things that Google saves (such as what you enter into the Omnibar) but even that you can easily shut off in the options.

Absolutely, there's really no reason to be on IE8 unless you need it for some reason.

fantastic comparison - my main browser is firefox 3.5x. Makes me want to upgrade to 3.6. I also need to try opera. I'll also probably use chrome more.

I'm currently using Opera 10.5, and it works fine as hell for me.

I use safari, becuase its the best browser on OSX hands down. But once in a blue moon, i find my self using firefox, when some downloads or webpages dont work on safari. But over all, safari is my choice! :) Great videos! 5/5

For what I do and what I need, IE beats all the other browsers straight out of the box without having to download add ons and customizing everything. I can't think of any features other browsers have that I want or need. Page load speeds would be nice, but other than that, I can't think of anything. If I wanted to save space like chrome or opera, people should try pressing f11 on IE, it's better cause the tabs and address bar hide themselves when you're not using them.

Hm, I had big problems with the FF, when the memory usage is in question. I work with all browsers, because of nature of my job, until yesterday I used FF as default browser, since yesterday it is GChrome.
I have not noticed such a big memory usage for now, but there are times, maybe I will find that.
