I bet there are people out there who have 9/11 VHS tapes laying around that they haven't converted to digital just yet. History in someone's garage. I hope more people release their footage. Thank you for uploading this!

Wow, I've watched so much 9/11 stuff and for some reason this one was one of the ones that felt the most "real" and gave a sense of what it felt like to actually be there while everything was happening. Thank you for capturing and sharing this, and kudos to the team that worked on putting this together. You and this piece will forever be a part of American and World History, and we will never forget all those who suffered, died, witnessed and/or did kind and heroic things that day. God bless us all.

The amount of new footage that has come out from 9/11 in just the past... idk year or 2, has been insane. Never thought I'd see so much. For a long time I had truly felt like I had seen all there is to see. Now there's probably 3 years of footage uploaded every few months.

The most horrifying experience on American soil. I have watched numerous videos of this tragic day. Each one breaks my heart. Thank you for your documentary.

These are the most important videos - the ones in the streets. You get to see and hear the reactions of New Yorkers in real time. You also get to appreciate the scale of the events.

28:44 hearing you cry breaks my heart into pieces. Im so sorry that you and so many had to expeience this firsthand. I was on the other side of the world in australia as a 15 year old trying to fall asleep with my tv on....the late night news came on and i saw the second plane hit in real time. Ill never ever forget this day and the trauma inflicted on man by man.

10:03 is the most raw and real reaction in real time I've seen in my entire lifetime. How scary that had to be to witness

the cries, the shock, the devastation, this video footage made me feel so much the whole time. the edits are respectfully adding to witness the emotions colliding at the core events during this whole attack. events like 9/11 are why video recording and documentation is so important. never forgotten

The scene beginning at 9:30 is seared into my mind. He sees the showers of sparks falling, zooms in, and tracks them straight upwards to the hole, seconds before the columns begin to bend. It looks as though there was a foundry in the building. The heat must have been unimaginable.

I go back at least once a year or more often and watch a video about this horrific tragedy because I as others, We Will Never Forget the souls that we lost that day. I do not live in NY, but will remember that day as if it were yesterday. This is the best on scene footage that I have seen that allows me to actually feel like I am there. Thank you for taking the time do this documentary giving us more of what happened September 11, 2001.

24:20 “I work at the World Trade Center… this was a good day to be late”. With a smile on his face, I’m sure he’s in shock and likely overwhelmed with what he just witnessed.
