This year I finally added a Sony Bravia 7 to my 2 Samsungs. I am very interested in the future Sony tvs because I felt they rested on their laurels in the last few years. But Sony is coming on heavy now! I feel Samsung has been pushing their qd oleds over their mini leds for good reason, but their mini leds have not been progressing. Sony is now innovating like crazy, good for us!
Bravia 7 is an excellent tv for the price. 2025 Bravia 8 will be a great qd oled if the price is right. Samsung s90d is the one to get now.
Great video B.

Looking forward to a full review of the Bravia 5 as well as learning more about the Theater System 6.

The A95L is such a beast and glad I have one. Just thought we’d c that upgraded panel in a larger screen than what’s being released. Mayb Sony is still dealing with manufacturers limitations.

A major downer that the Bravia 8 won’t be available in 77 inch or bigger and that I would have to go A95L if I wanted that size. I won’t spend top dollar money for a 3 model years old tv no matter how good. Maybe they will change their mind. If not the G5 would be my choice

These Bravia 8 Mark 2 are the samsung panels correct? samsung sells a 77 inch with it. Would be curious to see how the 55/65 s95d compares to the sony processing.

I don’t live in a place where a 77" TV can fit and I currently own a 55" LG C8 (2018) so I plan to upgrade it to a 65" Bravia 8 II this year. Thanks for the info!

The A95L is IMO, the best looking TV I have ever seen. I almost bought one last year, but went with a 2024 TCL QM8 for $899 because the price performance value was too good for me to ignore. Now that I have a very good TV that will last several years, that will give me plenty of time to save up and consider newer Sony's such as this Bravia 8 Mark 2. I see a lot of TVs as part of my job and generally Sony TVs look the best and have significantly better video processing than other brands. Sony's 2025 line up is going to be amazing.

Probably another reason they didn't make a 77" mk ii is because there isnt much of a visible difference between the a95l and the bravia 8 mk ii unless you were looking at specific scenes side by side lol. But I bet looking blindly having owned a a95l, the new mk ii I would not notice any difference.

Very informative video. The new pricing for their mid to high end TVs will be an important factor on any decision to buy a 2025 model.

I just purchased a 65" Sony Bravia 8 OLED TV. Before purchasing, I did a direct, side-by-side, comparison, between the Sony, LG and Samsung TV's, all in their vivid, or Dynamic picture mode settings and, to my eyes, the Sony was a cut above the others. At home, I like watching the Bravia 8 only in it's vivid picture mode, which gives it perfect brightness to go along with it's phenomenal color, depth and detail. Every time I sit in front of my new Sony Bravia 8 TV, I'm in complete and absolute awe of it's breathtaking picture quality. No need to spend more, as the Bravia 8 is all the TV I'll need for the foreseeable future.

So funny that you say that Sony says that they are selling so many A95L's that they don't feel they have to upgrade them but the FOMO channel says that Sony says they are not selling a lot of the 77" which is why they didn't offer a 77" in the Bravia 8 mark 2 category. I think I believe FOMO! Not a lot of regular consumers can afford over $5, 000!
