My "I'll wait for next year" has been going on for so long that I have now switched to "I'll wait till black friday in 10 years". 👌

for the guy asking the playstation question, most of the features are included already with hdmi 2.1 automatic features regardless of the TV. like automatically switching into game mode, auto tone mapping. i think bravia's have the app on them that allows streaming your playstation from another room in the house, but that app might be available on other smart TVs.

I'm buying a new TV this year, a new model is always around the corner. We often forget the time element and the enjoyment we could have had by not waiting.

The LG G4 is the first tv I have zero complaints about and don't thinker with the picture settings for the first 2 month's. Coming from a C1.

Definitely wait, Panasonic is back this year and they are supposed to come out with new TV's in 2025. LG, Samsung and Sony better bring their A game!

New TV's are still like 6 months away from availability or longer. We are still in the middle of this release cycle.

I work at a retail store, and Sony told us that the Bravia TVs worked with an improved HDR for the PS5 in comparison with other TV Brands, but if I’m honest with you, we have had the opportunity to prove that at the store. We connected a PS5 to a OLED C4 against a Bravia 8 and at my perception, the HDR performance was practically identical. So I doubt there’s a plus of having a Bravia TV + PS5. Even when Sony’s Brand advocates say that.
The only difference is the PS Remote app available for the Sony Bravia TVs.

I just upgraded my 55 x900e to a 65 bravia 7. Holy smokes! It was a big improvement. 🎉

83 to 85 inch A95L (or similar) is going to cost you at least $5995. Good luck with that price point.

83-inch QD OLED panels from Samsung Display in 2025? Awesome! I'd LOVE an 83-inch Sony QD OLED TV! But if a 77-inch Sony QD OLED costs $5, 000, I'd imagine an 83-inch Sony QD OLED could cost $7, 000, or maybe even more. But if I was making extra money faster, after I made $6, 000, I'd sell my 85-inch Sony X90L locally and pull the trigger on a Sony 83-inch QD OLED!

Caleb - is that a hope for an 83” QD OLED or an “informed suspicion”? :)

Sonos is making headway clearing up the app problems? Did I miss an update or something??

I hate filmmaker mode and any mode that controls how I like my picture. I've always enjoyed my TV as bright as I can get it. I just like the look. So I set mine to Vibrant and cool picture. I can't stand a warm picture.

Some 2024 TV's like the Panasonic Z95 have only just been released, it's not long until CES next year.

Another good episode! :) - Are there any plans on doing a full review for the upcoming Klipch Flexus Core 300? I'm considerign getting just the soundbar and using an older denon subwoofer

Don’t really want to spend more than 1500 for a 75 inch. I was looking at that Sony x90l sale.

CES 2025: Las Vegas January 7-10, 2025.

At this late date in the year it might make sense to just wait if ur wanting the 83/85” QD-OLED- that’s unless u just really have to have a new tv going into the holidays. Like others have said the QD at 83/85” is of course gonna cost sm extra coins so start saving up now folks.
