This "ask" show is one of my absolute favorites on YouTube. You give us such great information in a simple to understand show for us non-technical watchers.

Been using Sony since 2002. Sony Trinitron (2002), XBR75X910C (2016), XR83A90J (2022).

All 3 tvs still work. Two of the three tvs have moved all over the US with me and were able to withstand the rigorous moving in the Air Force.

LG G4 user here! Best TV I have ever seen in my life! Came from Sony A85J which was also gorgeous at the time!

Love this video, my man. I remember Panasonic being amazing back in the day, and their plasma TVs were 10 out of 10. Now I'm a Samsung loyalist.

Let me know if you need any employees, I'd love to join your team 👍🏽

And keep up the good work!

Just bought my 3rd TV in 20 years, and it's another Philips Ambilight model. I know you can retrofit lights to the back of your TV, but having them built in with a great TV to boot just makes sense.

Zenith was another good brand of tv's back in the tube days that no longer exists. The last Zenith we had when I was little was a big ole console tv that looked like a piece of furniture rather than a piece of electronics. Of course it weighed a million pounds and was permanently a part of the house. But still. :)

I found an old Sears color TV next to a dumpster in Alaska. With help from a friend, we took the tubes by a tube tester at Radio Shack and wound up watching lots of TV off an old box that was stained with water damage. It would take about five minutes to warm up, but the color was nice. I donated it to a rec room when I left the state and don't know how long it lasted, but we think we gave it another ten years of life with window cleaner and a handful of new Sylvania tubes.

Great to see TPV getting the recognition outside the US for their excellent Philips OLEDs. And happy to confirm that Curry’s has JVC and I guess Vestel has them for the rest of Europe.

Still using my Panasonic plasma from about 15 years ago! 😂. Wasn’t even aware they left the US market.

Zenith! Magnavox! Sylvania! Quasar! Okay, that's too far back.

I've had my 77" Sony OLED for 4 years. Could not be happier. Hope it lasts for years to come.

I’m still using a 50” 1080p Samsung DLP from 2005. She’s only on her third bulb and still going strong.

Still, I’m tempted to upgrade to a 75” 4K panel, but it’s hard when the old TV still works great.

Don’t forget about Pioneer, when their Elite and Kuro lines were king.
