I think when she speaks of cleaning the shower everyday, I think she's talking about showers that are glass enclosed. I had a glass shower and had to squeegee it every single day after I shower or that calcium buildup will change your shower from clear to frost!

"Kaffee und Kuchen", literally "coffee and cake", is a german habit or institution like the british "teatime". You meet with family & friends for a relaxed conversation and some cake and coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Preferably on Sunday afternoons, but really any afternoon is good for Kaffee und Kuchen.

A few years back there was this Guy at the office and he really did smell... a lot. At the End of the week I put a bottle of shower gel and deodorant on his desk. It worked well.

5:38 I once rented an apartment in Turkey, and in the bathroom there were high-gloss tiles on the walls. However, the tiles in the shower cubicle didn't shine. Before I took a shower for the first time, I wanted to clean the tiles. I tried all kinds of cleaners, but the tiles didn't shine. Then I started cleaning the tiles with a spatula. And I'm not lying! There was so much soap on the tiles that I could have squeezed new soap out of it! Just disgusting 🤢

the shower doesnt clean the shower, the same way that being in the rain isnt equal to taking a shower
you clean yourself and stuff stays in the bathtub, (rest of the dirty you wash off, soap and shampoo residuales, stuff like tender and hair)

but that said you dont need to clean your shower every day,
maybe dependent on how many people you are at home (a place with 10 people need to clean it more often than a place with 2 people)
maybe in some german regions were there is more "kalk" in the water you do it more often too

Coffee and cake is like your teatime.
And it don't even need coffee. Tea or hot chocolate works the same. It's the break and time together, that's important❣️

In Atlanta and most of North Georgia, we have 4 seasons. So we only open the windows in spring and fall to "air out" the house before switching from air con to heat or vice versa. But in spring, there is so much pine pollen (and other pollens) that come into your house, you have to spring clean to get the yellow/green pollen off EVERYTHING in your house. Sometimes we can't open in spring because one of us is allergic to some tree that's "shedding."

7:20 I'm sorry, but no, you don't have any bread. 😀 That's a sandwich, not bread. You need to come to Germany and go to a real bakery to buy real bread. Not cake or cookies, which are also delicious there. But that's not the point.

idk what kind of people she knows, but not a single german that I know, cleans their shower every single day. usually like every few days or every week or so.

the airing out the apartment thing is because of mold. if we don't do that, we get mold very quickly, which has to do with how our houses are built.

coffee and cake on sunday is a thing, but mostly when you meet with people (usually family / relatives), but not every single weekend - unless you are such a social person that you need people around every weekend.

We don't clean our shower every day, but some two times a week it will happen surely.About airing, we do that too every single day.And we do drink coffey with cakes.God, i just realized me and my family is completely Germanized :-)
We're not Germans, but we live here for quite a some time now....

A shower is not clean after you shower. Take a shower after you've been out and are muddy, oily or really dirty and take a look at the walls. I'm not German, I'm Swedish, but here we have to clean up the showers at least once a week. Tiles should be glossy, not anything else. Not cleaning the shower regularly will make the cleaners that clean your apartment or house really angry when you have moved out because the time will double up.

I live in the desert, and i never open my windows, i have lived in this house for coming up on 4 years and i have literally never opend a window, guests have opened the windows, and i closed them but I've never opened one of these windows

Hi, i m a German and i m with you, befor nine o clock at the workweek no Breakfast, at Weekend: Lunch is my first meal.BUT we are Singles I mean, if you have Family, it changes, you look at your kids, they need specific times to eat.so they have structure.😊😊😊

I am german and I can tell you that people will look at you crazy if you tell them you dont like coffee :)
