I seen David Lightbringer did a video about the Cannibal. He was saying something about how each Valyrian Dragon Lord's House has a specific dragon bloodline attached to it, that allows only them to be able to bond with it. The Cannibal may have hatched from an egg that belonged to a Valyrian House that was at Dragonstone before the Targaryens arrived, and could have been eating their dragons because it saw them as enemies or rivals.

Honestly at this point since its confirmed that only aemonds corpse is found, i think that mothafucka of daemon survives the fight and tames him and builds a third targaryen lineage to which the false aegon is part of, which makes him neither targaryen neither blackfyre which would be mindfucking blowing
