I do like the idea of one day pushing past the fortresses in the far east to find that there’s some really cool, crazy, scary magic stuff out there. Like stuff on par with the threat of the nights king and his army. Things of that nature. And the Westeros that we see, is people clinging to the tiny fragments of power that were leftover from the destruction. Imagine the immensely powerful creatures, like thousand year old dragons who fled, or crazy magic that might be out there, waiting to be found in the aftermath of the doom. Title is misleading. Cannibal isn't (or atleast isn't confirmed) to be a Targaryen Dragon.

Actually dragons eat everything they can from Human to another dragon.
Example : Sunfyre ate MoonDancer and Rhaenyra.
