Have you tried web piecing, keeping the columns together, putting back in the line-up to add the next column square by square. Once you get it together vertically, you only have horizontal seams left with everything staying in place. I do love your 4-patches idea. The muted tones, would look good with white sashing. It does have muted contrast. If you cut a 5" strip of your fqs you will have plenty, make squares to deal around your layout like cards. So many options per fat q, and still have more for other projects. Have you considered over cutting the first strip, and only needing to turn the strip, and straighten the other side of it?

Wow, you made an easy quilt even easier with placing the 3 colors/1 background then sewing into 16 patches! Brilliant! Thanks again for another terrific tutorial!

You have a great collection of beautiful batiks, I personally haven’t really sewn but a very few batiks. I love low volume quilts, but I also like fabrics that grab one’s attention. Thanks for sharing.👍❤️😊

Awesome!!! I just paused after a few minutes. Yes, yes, yes I can always find just what I need to be ‘just perfect’ when I diligently look hard enough. Delighted this is the topic. Now back to finishing the video. And you have such a melodious voice to listen to. Hugs fro Maine.
