I’ve watched about 50 videos on how to do this. Yours is by far the most comprehensive. Hope you make more videos.

I loved your explanation...I could follow it nicely and I loved the kiddo laughing in the background!

I have 3 quilts all ready to be joined... been scouring Youtube for as many QAYG methods that I can find for the easiest method. Your method is the best one I have run across in a year. Thank you so much for this tutorial. I will look forward to viewing many more from you.

I like that the kiddo is laughing in the background. It just made it more for real for some reason. I don't know why. You do a great job with these.

YOu did a fine job, explaining the different methods. I've tried them all, and still working on making the back close to perfect. Thanks!

I haven't tried this yet, but I am going to as soon as I can... I am saving this video to my favorites on my computer and I am subscribing to your channel.. Alisha, your video is excellent!!! I love your organization and explanations. I was very disappointed to see that you only have one video. Please consider making more! Your channel would do very well! Thank you for a clear and concise video without the rambling.

Fold the top strip in half before you sew it onto the front. Then when you fold it over to attach the second block it's already folded.

If you cut a 2” piece folded on the front, raw edges to the edges and put a 1”piece on the back and add you next block to the wrong side piece both seams are covered when you fold over the front piece and sew down with a decorative stitch both.

Hi I like your blocks. I've been doing QAYG for a while and learned to do the 2 strip method with one strip folded in half, like binding then you don't have to struggle with foldding that narrow piece of fabric.

If you iron one strip in half and sew the raw edges to the quilt square, you have a finished edge to sew down. Saves lots of time and looks nice.

my QUILT AS YOU GO SUGGESTION....I made a queen size quilt using quilt as you, i found as it got bigger i had to switch to sewing by hanf but that didn't look great with two methods, this was a gift, so i took the hand stitching out and just wrestled with the helped is i made one of the strips wider so it was easy to fold over, not a 1/4" next time i think i would make the 2nd strip like a binding, completely folded so i sew both raw edges and only have a folded edge to stitch down....and i profess to never make a queen size quilt again. 😂. thanks for the video.

This is fabulous, I can deal with this better than quilting a whole quilt. I have always said I would never quilt by hand but if I had to do the hand part for this I would not mind. Thank you so much !
