R.C. Sproul: The End & Purpose of the World

Those who walk merely by sight will almost always despair at the conditions in the sin-sick world around them. In this session, Dr. R.C. Sproul will remind us that the world ultimately exists to make manifest the glory of Christ. He will affirm that in the midst of our hardships or in the midst of decline, God is on His throne, working all things according to the good pleasure of His will. He will encourage us by saying that while we labor in God's name, the Lord does indeed reign.

The Church has seen the passing of a great and gifted teacher and it will miss him.  Heaven has gained another saint to worship at the throne and Dr. Sproul has reached the goal for which he long labored under the guidance of the Spirit of God.  Thanks be to God for Dr. Sproul.  In this message he spoke of the finite's inability to comprehend the Infinite and I believe that scripture teaches us that Dr. Sproul now understands it all for we who are in Christ are promised that we will know as we are known.  And specifically, listen to this message and be blessed by Dr. Sproul's teaching.

I’ve listened to this message a couple of times in the past several years but hearing it in October 2021 in light of current events it’s taking on a whole new level of urgency and importance. It’s one thing to feed on solid teaching during days of peace and prosperity. It’s a whole other animal when certain specified biblically foretold moments in history arise within a generation calling for a response. It’s a beautiful thing to be reminded that God is and always will be acting on PLAN A. His plan has always been and always will be perfect and in no need of change. There is no plan B. A plan B is unnecessary. No matter how things look. To all my fellow Christians in 2021- fight the good fight. Fight the right fight. See you in Glory!

I miss R.C Sproul so much, I never met him but someday I will. All glory to Jesus the King of kings and Lord of lords. God has given us some good teachers to help us focus on Him.

We lost our 19yo son in 2016. I say lost, but I know where he is, w/Jesus Christ. But in this existence, we feel the absence caused by death sharply. I miss RC Sproul like I miss my youngest of our two sons. I am excited to know I will see them both again.
